I told you that I have hdi3000, I use linear, convex and linear probes but I need it to use for echocardiography, I purchased p3-2 cardiac probe, when I selected &quot;Kard&quot; neither M-mode, nor doppler works. it seens to be locking the software to recognize the probe, or locking cardiac software.the machine output allthe text in German. I would prefer to have English... 			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Marvin, you can try contacting Philips/ATL in the U.S. and see if they would be willing to help you upgrade the system to Abdominal, and allow the use of the C4-2, but other than that there isn&#039;t much you can do.</p><p>Brast, when everything cuts out besides the fans.. to me it sounds like one of the three power supplies is encountering an issue (the AC input at the back allows power to filter to the fans when the White switch is ON, so it sounds like you&#039;re getting power, but it&#039;s just not being redirected properly). The master power supply controls power on the Digital power supply, as well as the Analog power supply. They&#039;re basically three boards in the front of the system.</p><p>You could try removing the front plate and reseating the power supplies (power off, and system unplugged prior to doing that). Other than that it would either take some board replacing, or component level tracking down of the issue.</p>]]></content>

Philips would definitely know more about it than I would, so I&#039;d try to find out more about the HD software. I currently don&#039;t have software for this unit.</p>]]></content>

When we switch it on the&nbsp; system does a check i.e, bars are seen on the monitor after that white screen appears and nothing happens after that.&nbsp; What could be the problem. Philips engr. says that HDD power is gone bad. We checked it and found that the HDD power is o.k. Please advise&nbsp; for a solution.Is it that there is s/w crash.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>That&#039;s a tough one. I can try to find out whats going on, but unless there&#039;s some sort of board listing it&#039;s hard to tell what the problem is. Runtime errors can be any number of things.</p><p>Is it a boot-up disk, or a back-up disk? The back-up disk might not help just because it&#039;s only mainly used for storing all of your system files, but doesn&#039;t necessarily allow you to boot from the disk. A boot-up disk acts as the hard drive.</p><p>I will do what I can to help, but if you have other people you can contact I would suggest asking around while providing me with more information.</p>]]></content>
