Saludos amigo.

I have a client with a Toshiba ultrasound, family 5 model SSA-510A.

Need to send images to your computer, and store them in this ..

To do this, I need to place a video capture card, and find the port for sending images of the equipment?

If the team can send the images Dicom, it is necessary to activate a license for this .. ? what software I use to administer mail the pictures on the computer?

I don't have any hands-on experience with the Toshiba Famio 5.

I also don't want to misinterpret your question: when you say the team can send images to DICOM... what are you asking about a license for? Are you referring to software that can read DICOM format images? I'm also not sure what you mean by "administer mail the pictures on the computer", are you asking if you need a license to email pictures to other people...?

If you have a DICOM connection on the Famio 5, but you need software... a program we've used in the past thats worked fairly well is called Showcase. It's designed by a company called Trillium Technology Inc., and their website is www.triltech.com

They've got several options including a Network Showcase that allows you to send DICOM format to the computer using a built in DICOM capture server/storage server. They also provide support for the program when/if you buy it.
