Hello

After a PM test the equipment shows that errors

F0 SCMR MXK TEST

the equipment was working fine (no power up errors, 2d, doppler, color, M mode, etc fine)

just the monitor seems to be bad, sometimes shows a violet color and the image is not clear and makes some noise like a humming

another equipment shows the follow errors

A2 FEC INPUT PATH TEST
A3 FEC RANGE GATE ACUMMULATOR TEST
A4 FEC WRITE ADDRESS COUNTERTEST
A5 FEC LINE TYPE NUMBER TEST
A7 FEC HIGH PASS FILTER ADDR 1
A9 FEC X 0 M.A.C. TEST
AA FEC X1 M.A.C. TEST
AD FEC READ ADDRESS COUNTER TEST
112 FEC OUTPUT INTERLEAVE TEST
113 FEB FEC TO FEB CINE RAM XFER TEST

power up errors FEB 06 FEC 02

i was searching in your page for the part FEC4xp but i couldnt find it, the part has and unusual pn 50592999047 on the board says FEC IV 36551

thanks in advance

Re: Errors after PM test

The EC VDT and SGD test could be an intermittent issue, sometimes it will fail on the PM, but if you run the test individually it won't fail. As for the SCNR MXK test.. sort of the same thing. Although, if you run the test by itself it should tell you what channels are causing the failure and you can troubleshoot from there.

As for the FEC4, the XP10 shouldn't need an FEC4 unless you're using the MUX board... or Harmonics, honestly I haven't seen an FEC4 in an XP in so long, I've forgotten what it was used for exactly. I think you could get away with using an FEC3 if you wanted. The FEC4 we have on our website is PN 36552.

Easiest way to tell with Acusons part number is the tabs, the first 5 digits on the tab will be the part number. For instance.. 3655200123, would be part number: 36552, serial number: 00123 -- at least that's how I interpret it.

At any rate, let me know if you need the FEC board and I can have Angel/Rich/Thomas send you a price quote. Sound good?

Re: Errors after PM test

Oscar, we currently do not have any good working 128XP/10 monitors for resale. I will need to send one off for repair, but they are fairly expensive.

To check the size of the monitor, measure from the top left to the bottom right, if it's greater than 9 inches... then it's the 12 (the monitor bezel takes up roughly an inch of the screen in total).

I'll have Angel email you a quote for the FEC3 and FEC4 boards.
