Hello!
The ultrasound system is 128XP.
The top power supply is ok, the +12v, -12v, 5v and 24v are ok.
the 5v 60A, and 300V are ok.
but when i start up the system the same error appear:
DAQ 09
PROMOAD 05
Please help me with this proble, ok!
Thnaks in advance!
Henry,
Do you know how to access the boards in the top of the system? If so, please look at the OC3 board and see if it has 4 chips labeled "OCWARE". If it does, we can run some further diagnostics on the system to see what could be causing the failure.
If it does not, I would recommend pulling the DAQ board out of the system and see if it can boot to imaging. If the system boots then chances are the DAQ is failing in some capacity. I do not have a whole lot of experience troubleshooting down to the component level, but we do have plenty of DAQ boards in stock.
Let me know what you're able to find, or if you need more information on how to access the Scan Converter card cage.
Hello Todd!
I access the the boards and I pull out the DAQ and just only appear in monitor the PROMLOAD 05. Also I checked the OWAREs chip in the OC3 (U123,U138,U158,U174).
Tell me what else i can do?
Thanks in Advance.
Henry

Sure, you can write in Spanish. I may take a little longer to reply, but my business partner can help translate.
As for Promload 05, it could be the OC3 SYSCON chips, or any other EPROM that is required to communicate with the Scanner. Could be the SCP in the scanner card cage, it could be a chip on the CVC... but I'm thinking it's an OC3 or SCP issue.
There's no point in running the on-board diagnostics on the system with a Promload error since it will just freeze during the test.
If you have another 128XP in the area we can try swapping some boards to isolate the issue, but if that's not doable, I can put together what they call a 'hero kit', and have it sent to your location. Would just need the freight charges taken care of, possibly a deposit on the boards, etc. We can work that out though if that was something you'd like to do.
Hello Todd!!!

Hello
When operating the system, it returns the following message:
"MEMEX ERROR 98" PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE ...
Continuing with the operation, the console seems to freeze and after some time (1 minute or more) returns to repeat the operation until frost. And in this process remains indefinitely. Can you help me solve this problem? Thank you.
It's very likely that one of the eproms on (one of) the MEX3 board(s) has 'died'. In order to replace it you will need to know precisely which chip is failing. To do this you will need to have access to the onboard diagnostic utility.
The OC3 has 4 chips labeled "OCWARE" on the upper right section of the board, you can either look there to see if you have them, or go to this post on the forum: On-board Diagnostics
