Topic: HDI 3000 Error

This was emailed to us recently, something I'll be researching on the side, but wanted to see if anyone may have come across something like this before -- pictures that were sent to us will be below the post as well:

Dear Sir, Technical support dept.

We ask you kindly please your help.

I have a problem with my ATL HDI 3000 date of manufacture 1997. When system starts I get: Runtime Alarm (1202-8220-B003-28416765), when I use the probe C7-4 40R I get another message : Reselect scan head.

When I select the scan head , all the data of this probe it a pears and also the model of the probe  system can find it , then I select my probe parameters settings  I got a black screen and alert !!

Other probes working well. My probe looks is very  new!! Is the probe or  software or some p.c. boards faulty??

I'm going from memory here but this appears to be a software compatibility issue with enabled options (analysis packages and scanheads), and the actual scanheads being used. It is highly doubtful that system hardware is causing the problem.

Do you use this probe before? It seems to me a software issue, may be about the options for the scanheads, if you restore your software the problem will be gone
