Topic: Hard drive replacement.

Hello,

I need to change the hard drive for a HDI 5000 ultrasound.

Service manual says "The hard drive should be loaded with 107.10 software or higher".

Also on manual, on software releases information "Bootable image install disk with system software" and "Software files disk" are mentionated as part of every release.

Is there a way to download these disks from internet?

Best regards

Re: Hard drive replacement.

Software is proprietary, but you may have some luck if you contact Philips Healthcare directly (they purchased ATL a number of years ago). You'll need to know what version you're currently running, which can be seen when the system boots up.

Out of curiosity, why are you changing out the hard drive? Is it corrupted, or were you looking to add more storage?

Re: Hard drive replacement.

Hello Todd,

We suspect Hard drive is corrupted.

Storage is not an issue here, original 2 GB partition is enough for this device.

Best regards.
