Topic: ATL HDI 3000 MO Drive

Hi Todd:

I have an ATL HDI 3000, and I need the MO drive to save some images, but I don't know where it be plug and how setup out. I plug it next to the hard drive but doesn't work

Please help me!!!

You need to have an option turned on. I believe it's called "Access Disk Link" or something like that.. at least thats what it's called on the HDI 5000. Not all HDI 3000's came with MO disk drives, not exactly sure what the idea was behind that, maybe since VCR's and printers were still the main method for saving patient information.

I do believe the Access Disk Link option is needed to store patient data on optical drives.

The drive itself is SCSI as is the hard disk. You probably have an external SCSI connector on the rear panel, which may be used by FSE's to load new software on the machine. Installing one internally requires proper jumper settings for drive assignment and proper termination of the SCSI chain.
