Topic: HDI-4000 error code 58

System: HDI-4000

An L12-5/38mm is connected to HDI-4000,
and an error code 58 appears.
I checked the service manual, and
it means that code 58 is "HV_DATA_DOWNLOAD_ERROR".

System problem? Probe problem?
(This probe works well on HDI-5000.)

I do not think that the HDI 5000 probes were compatible with the HDI 4000, but don't quote me on that.

As for the error.. HV_DATA_DOWNLOAD sounds something along the lines of high voltage. Perhaps the system does not have the capacity to power the probe?

Again, just speculation. I'll look into this more tomorrow when I'm in the office.
