Topic: GE Vivid 7

I have a Vivid 7 at an osite facility that does not have a PACS. Their hard drive is just about full of studies and they would like to archieve them before they start getting overwritten. I have not yet been to the site, but if I remember there are several USB ports on the Vivid 7. My question is can these USB ports be used to download the studies to a flash drive to transfer to a PC. Any help would be great, Thanks.

sorry for not replying to you earlier. GE units aren't my strong suit, so I had to talk to someone who knew the system better.

The Vivid 7 should be able to export to an external drive (I believe an external Hard Drive would be better than a Flash drive), it's just a matter of navigating the menu's and figuring out how the Vivid exports information.

I can get you a more detailed explanation, but it may take a while.
